The Hilal Committee of the Islamic Education Board of the World Federation has determined 1 Dhil Qa'dah 1427 to be:
a) For Mu'mineen in Europe:
Friday 24 November. There were no reported sightings for Europe. It therefore follows that Shawwal will complete 30 days and that Friday 24 November will be 1 Dhil Qa'dah 1427
b) For Mu'mineen in Africa:
Africa Federation has announced Thursday 23 November as 1 Dhil Qa'dah 1427
c) For Mu'mineen in North America:

d) For Mu'mineen in the rest of the World:
