There have been no reports of sighting of the crescent in Europe on Friday 12 October 2007. Whilst sighting of crescent has been reported in other parts of the world, this does not apply to Muqallideen of Ayatullah Seestani in Europe.
Thus 1st Shawwaal will be on Sunday, 14 October 2007 for the Muqallideen of Ayatullah Seestani.
As for Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui, Saturday, 13 October 2007 is 1st Shawwaal following completion of 30 days of Ramadhan.
