What is Eid ul Adha?

Eid Ul Adha is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims in commemoration of Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael for God. This is a story recounted by Muslims, Jews and Christians alike.

To celebrate this occasion, many Muslims believe in feeding the poor or giving money in charity. More often than not, this money is sent to countries in the Asian sub continent or Africa.
