MAMT 2011- SPORTS RULES -

alt

Introducing the 1 change rule:

Every year, we experience a large number of requests at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances such as illness, work commitments, family functions...etc...

All sports coordinators are then faced with a problem as their teams have already been entered and we have to make amendments and everything suddenly becomes very chaotic.

This year, we have intrcoduced the 1 change rule.

Under this rule, every Jamaat is allowed to make 1 change per team in Football and Volleyball on the day before the matches begin.

This change could be a player swap between teams or it could be an addition of a player (payment for that player will be required in cash)

We hope this makes it easier on the coordinator and the organisers...

If smaller Jamaats do not enter their maximum number of adult football teams the larger Jamaats can fill the position under the original Jamaat's name, e.g. If Gloucester were only to enter one football team as they have been allocated two team slots Stanmore can then enter an extra team under the name of Gloucester. This rule has been introduced to allow Jamaats to make changes deemed necessary due to extreme circumstances. All other changes are at the discretion of the MAMT committee.  We will always do our best to accomodate all requests but deadlines are issued for a reason and these MUST be respected.
