The Seniors Needs Desk of The Council of European Jamaats would like to invite all Jamaat members above 35 yrs old age to the SND gathering and Seniors needs assessment workshop being held on Saturday 2 October 2010, commencing at 11 am till 5 pm at Zainabiya  Islamic Centre, Peveral Drive, Granby, Milton Keynes MK1 1NL.

The below speech was given by the Chairman of Seniors Desk of CoEJ  Alhaj Ramzanbhai Dhanji on 11th July 2010 at a thanks giving party was given by The Council Of European Jamaat at the Dar-es-Salaam Imambargha on 4th floor.

For the past five years, the KSIM Senior Citizen Association has celebrated the wiladat of Sayyada Zainab(a.s) by organising and hosting Zainabia Day. The trend will continue this year, by the grace of the Almighty, with the event to be held shortly after the wiladat of Sayyada Zainab (a.s) on Saturday 21 April 2010 at Hujjat Imambargah, Stanmore. The event has been a grand success in previous years mainly due to the large participation of the Senior community, with over four hundred Seniors (both ladies and gents) from various jamaats attending the event. The Association is optimistic that this year’s event will be as successful and encourages all Senior citizens to attend.

On this distinguished occasion, the Association have invited various community leaders, including the President of The World Federation Of KSIMC, Al-Hajj Dr Asghar Moledina, the President of CoEJ, Al-Hajj Dr Hussein Jiwa and the President of KSIMC of London (Hujjat), Al-Hajj Mustafa Jaffer and his committee to grace the event with their presence. 

The Association has benefitted from a variety speakers at their weekly Wednesday gatherings over the years and as a mark of their appreciation and gratitude, have invited the speakers and their families to attend event as well. The Association also wishes to thank all donors, advertisers and well wishers to their twentieth memorial issue and the volunteers of Hujjat Imambargah, Stanmore for their tireless efforts in supporting and encouraging the Association and has cordially extended an invitation to them all to participate in the celebrations.
