Abstract
The Conservative Muslim Forum (CMF) will discuss and debate what a Conservative government will mean for the British Muslim community. This involves discussing wider issues which affect all communities such as the economy and youth crime but in particular issues that the British Muslim community find themselves more concerned with such as immigration, multiculturalism, faith schools, discrimination, anti-terrorist legislation and the Prevent strategy - to name a few. Questions to be tackled include but are not restricted to: How will the government engage with the British Muslim community? What will it expect of British Muslims? What will change and how?

Mohammed Amin
Vice Chairman of CMF
Mohammed Amin is the Vice Chairman of the Conservative Muslim Forum. He has a mathematics degree from Cambridge University and is qualified as a chartered accountant, a chartered tax adviser and a corporate treasurer.
Professionally he is a tax partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and leads their Islamic Finance practice in the UK. Amin is a member of the HM Treasury Islamic Finance Experts Group, established by the Economic Secretary to the Treasury to advise the Government on Islamic Finance strategy. He was recently included in the Muslim Power 100, a list of the hundred most influential Muslims in the UK.

Wan Saiful Wan Jan
Head of Policy for CMF
Wan Saiful Wan Jan is Head of Policy for the Conservative Muslim Forum. He joined the Conservative Party in 2005 and contested the 2007 local elections in Luton. Previously he was at the Conservative Research Department and the Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit. Wan is now Director General of the Malaysia Think Tank (WauBebas), a free market think tank promoting libertarian ideas in the country.

Nash Jaffer
Treasurer for CMF
Professionally, Navshir is a Senior Tax Manager at Ernst & Young LLP specialising in Strategic Growth Markets in London. He has advised on the tax aspects of a wide range of commercial transactions with experience in numerous projects.
He has contributed to diverse British communities at various organisations and forums. For example, past Non Executive Director at Merton & Sutton NHS Trust. Served his community at local, European and World level. Member of the Muslim Council of Britain Central Working Committee and the Business and Economics committee. Steering committee member of the Princes Trust Mosaic initiative.
