Diary Day 6 (Friday)

At breakfast time I ate Coco Pops which was delicious. In the first lesson we had Hasnain Bha, and I learnt about feedback. I gave positive attributes, how they could improve and one positive experience to Abbas. I lesson three we had the Alim (Imranali Panjwani) and we were talking about Imam Ali (a.s.)'s sayings in Nahjul Balagha sermon 160.

At lunch I ate lasange and croquets which was tasty. Also I had a good discussion with Muallim (Imranali) about unity in Islam. The at salaat time Muallim had a sermon at the beginning due to it being the day of Jumuah, and the importance of the day. I found out we should treat Jumuah like Eid.

In archery we had a lot of fun. We had to take a fifty-yard trek through a field filled with sheep. We started with individual attempts at firing arrows, and then with competition. I scored a total of fifteen points and Mohammed Jetha and I were the only people to hit a bullseye. We got into our wet suits and jumped into the sea (editor: actually it is a river) then the canoes came in and Shabbar and I capsized the boats. After getting changed, we watched a video and had a descriptive discussion on this.

(After dinner, the campsite organised an 'aircrash rescue' where the campers were told a light aircraft had crashed and they needed to find the survivors.)

The flying light aircraft (crash) was just amazing because the act was so effective. The four planets had to search the two fields for survivors as the two pilots had parachuted down from the plane. All the groups had positive attributes and we communicated well.

Maghribain salaat was good as we prayed in Jamaat. After the namaaz we recited our special salawaat and campers recited du'a and ziyaraat. Planet time involved a discussion session with two planets, and we watched a video about events affecting our Shia brothers around the world. We learnt how people have struggled to keep the message of the Imams (a.s) alive, even in the last few years. I am going to sleep now, its 11:30, zzzzzz...
