ImageMuntazir was born in Watford in 1986. He is the youngest of 3 children. His parents are both from small towns in Tanzania; his father originating from Mwanza and his mother from Bukoba.

Having completed his GCSE’s and A-Levels at Watford Grammar School, Muntazir went on to study at City University, London, where he achieved an honours degree in BSc Management. Since then, he has begun an 18-month PGCE course, and hopes to teach Mathematics at secondary school level.

Outside of his academic life, Muntazir has had a huge passion for football from an early age, which has also allowed him to coach kids between the ages of 12-15. In addition, he has been part of the Stanmore community football league, and attends community events and discussion groups regularly.

Last year Muntazir participated in a charity fundraiser for Iraqi Relief, which was aimed at raising awareness for orphans in Iraq. Other interests include playing a wide range of sports, travelling and reading, especially about Islamic history. This will be his first time as a camp mentor, and to Sweden, and God willing, an excellent experience!
