ImageSadiq was born in Hillingdon, London, UK, in 1981. He comes from a family of three, a younger brother and a sister. His father Mustafa was born in Zanzibar and his mother was born in Moshi, Tanzania. They migrated to the UK in the early 1970's.

Sadiq completed his GCSEs at Northwood School, London and his Islamic studies at Shia Ithna-Asher Madressa (Stanmore) and Hujjat Saturday Workshop (Stanmore). He studied for his A Levels at Haydon Sixth Form in London. He went on to complete an HND in computing at Southampton and a BSc in Internet Computing at Essex University.

Throughout his education, he has taken on various roles as a course representative and events organiser. With an enthusiasm for windsurfing

and sailing he has been elected as the vice president of his university watersports club.

Since graduating he has founded an IT Consultancy, LMNO.co.uk which focuses on providing a full range of IT services to Non Profits as well as Small and Medium Enterprises. He has also been responsible for organising the first two annual PHP UK developers’ conferences.

Using his experience and knowledge in the computing industry he has assisted the community in implementing a system that allows Dua translations to be broadcast across TV screens, developed website for jamaats, re-developed CoEJ.org, Quran.org.uk, and many other similar community sites. Sadiq is also currently working with CoEJ, The World Federation and other non profit organisations on other IT projects.

He is currently the Chairman of the Youth Desk at CoEJ and works closely with the CoEJ Secretariat on other projects.

From 2001 to 2006, he has been providing daily updates and photos of the Sweden summer camp via the CoEJ website, which has been developed, expanded and enhanced over the years. After missing the camp in 2007 (for his honeymoon) he returned in 2008 as an administrator. Since taking photos at the camps, he has tuned his photography skills and mentors budding photographers.

For over four years, he has been the backbone of the First Aid service provided to Campers and Mentors alike at the Camp. He completed the full accredited, recognised First Aid course and ensures he attends all the updating courses.

Along side his interest in photography and sailing, he enjoys reading, travelling, and community work.
