ImageShoaib was born in Birmingham, UK in 1988, where he currently resides. He completed his secondary schooling at King Edwards School, where he attained 10 GCSEs and 4 A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Design Technology. He also had the honour of heading the Islamic Society and being awarded an Arkwright scholarship for Design. Shoaib is currently studying Dentistry at the University of Birmingham and will insh¹Allah begin his 3rd year in September.

Shoaib enjoys being active in his Jamaat and is currently a secondary teacher in  Birmingham's Muhammadi Madressa for two years, teaching Fiq and Akhlaq. He is also a committee member and secretary of the Abbasi Youth Committee. He has also been involved in a few CoEJ events in the past and attended the York Study Skills Course 08 as a mentor.

Shoaib has been to Sweden as both a junior and senior camper, and will insh¹Allah be returning this year as a mentor.

He tries to keep his hobbies as fulfilling and as diverse as possible, whether it be playing sports, reading a book or socialising with friends.

From Sweden, Shoaib aspires to further develop himself in all aspects and hopes the campers gain just as much (and more!) as he did as a camper.
