It is with great sadness that we received the news of the passing of Mohamed Rafique Jafferali Dattu, grandfather to our Mentor Shabbir Merali.

The loss is felt by all, Campers, Mentors and Administrators alike. The prayers of the whole camp are with the Marhoom and his family in this difficult time. We Pray to Allah (SWT)to grant the Marhoom a place amogst our holy infallibles (A.S) and the family Sabr Jameel.

Shabbir left Sweden camp and flew back early to ensure he was present for the funeral and be with his family at this difficult time.The service of Shabbir to the camp is no doubt testimony to the upbringing and values instilled by Marhoom Mohamed Bhai in his family and may Allah (s.w.t.) reward him amply.
