This morning, as usual, we woke up and had our breakfast. Once we had eaten sufficiently, we went to our lessons. We had our first lesson with Mulla Sahib about
preparing for the holy month of Ramadhan. We had brother Hasnain Ramji for a lesson about facing daily challenges. After the refreshing break of apples and sweet sweet water of AssO, we had a talk about being violent, by brother Suhayl Valji. Last but not least, we had a lesson from Shane Abbas Hassam about lessons from Karbala. These were very beneficial and we are now looking forward to our next set of lessons.
After a short walk to the canteen, we had some very scrumptious spaghetti bolognaise, prepared by out resident chefs. Once we had finished our food, we headed out towards the Salah building, where we partook in the Salah and Wudhu assessments in the picturesque scenery.
Due to the lack of Swedish instructors, the canoeing for Jupiter was re-scheduled for another day. So instead we were introduced to the native Swedish sport, ‘Qub’, followed by beach tennis… on grass! After an exhausting 3 hours of action-packed sport, we attended dinner, followed by Salah and an intellectual discussion about Dua Kumayl, including its recitation and Tafseer, finally followed by a heart-moving remembrance of Imam Hussayn (as).
PDT was next on the line-up which included two quizzes and an interesting intro of mentor Shabir Datoo. The postbag and newsbrief followed afterwards. The planets dispersed and we spent planet time writing this special diary entry!
