In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
My journey to Sweden started in the early hours of the morning. I left from Birmingham mosque to Stanmore at about 6:30. After a couple of hours we arrived at  Stanmore where we weighed our luggage, met our fellow campers and our mentors. We were given our musallahs, dua books, notepads and class packs. After a while we left for Heathrow.

As I stepped into Terminal 5 I could see the beautiful architecture of the new terminal as we made our way to zone G, including a new water fountain. We checked in and passed through security easily, even though there was a camera taking a picture of us!

The flight was short and fairly uneventful though there was a lot of joking around, laughing and story telling. The airline served us a lovely sandwich, a chocolate bar and a drink of our choice. Many of us enjoyed the ear popping experience!

After arriving in Sweden we got onto the coach and made our way to the local Jamaat (Marsta) to do our Zohr and Asr namaz. We prayed and set off for the new campsite. When we got onto the coach, we sat next to our friends and our mentors, keeping ourselves occupied by playing word games to distract us from the long coach ride. Having arrived at the new campsite we quickly went to our houses, prayed our Maghrib and Isha namaz and followed with a sumptuous dinner of gosht no saag.
