The Education Committee of the Council of European Jamaats has organised the fifth UCAS Seminar, which shall take place on Saturday 8 September 2007 in Birmingham as part of the CoEJ Careers Day. The seminar, tailored to students applying for University, will be conducted by Arif Hasham and Aqil Datoo. |
Entering university is a difficult time; managing finances, living away from home and doing your own washing! (or living at home and the challenges that are faced). The Education committee’s annual Freshers Fair aims to guide participants through this potential minefield; through focussed discussion circles and personal insights the main challenges of university life are exposed and dealt with.
This event is open only to freshers to allow the speakers and participants to be as candid and open as possible. Mature freshers are also welcome. |
Mock interviews with feedback will be available on a first come first served basis. These will be 20 min interviews, with 10 minutes of personal feedback to improve your chances of being accepted. Please register online if you wish to utilise this service. |
