4th CPD Course on Family Ethics |

In continuation of the Action Plan agreed at the 2005 Muballigheen Retreat, The World Federation and The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ) are embarking upon the 4th CPD (Continuous Personal Development) course. The course will be conducted by Sheikh Mohammed Ali Ismail on the topic of Family Ethics.
The course is aimed to refresh and update the skills and knowledge of Muballigheen and Madrasah teachers. CPD courses promote the continuous sharing of knowledge within the community.
The course will include an in-depth analysis of issues relating to:
- Marriage
- Childbirth
- Relationship between parents and children
- Rights of husband and wife
- Upbringing of children
- Divorce
Tutor profile: After graduating with a BA in Law from De Montfort University in Leicester, Sheikh Mohammed Ali pursued his Islamic Studies in the holy city of Qum. He spent a total of 10 years there and successfully graduated last summer. He is currently pursuing his Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Portsmouth. Sheikh Mohammed Ali also delivers weekly classes and lectures at Wessex Jamaat. He also conducted the last CPD course in December 2007 on Aqaid.
Logistics: The course will be fully residential and will commence at approximately 1800 on Friday 11 July 2008 and is due to finish at approximately 1700 on Sunday 13 July 2008. Location will be in or around London. Participants will be expected to remain on site throughout the duration of the course.
Cost: The costs are heavily subsidised. The cost of the course is only £75 per person based on two people sharing a room. The actual, non subsidised cost is £155. Applicants have the choice of paying £10 extra for a single occupancy. Anyone wishing to attend but unable to meet these costs should still apply and email us in complete confidence.
