Khums is an important pillar of the Islamic economic system and an essential obligation for a Muslim. It is the most common tax in the Shi’ah law of Islam since it applies to the savings and the profits on an annual basis. It was introduced by the grandfather of the Holy Prophet, Abdul Muttalib upon a command given to him by Allah and has been emphasised repeatedly by the Holy Prophet and all the Imams.

IEB in conjunction with CoEJ is pleased to launch the first CPD course aimed at Zakireen and Madressa Teachers.

The course includes:

Figurative Interpretation
Compilation
Classification of Verses
Translations
Wahi
Sura Orientation

The course will be conducted by: Sheikh Abbas Jaffer

The course cost: only £75.00 (heavily subsidised from £300.00) per person.

Price includes: 4-star ensuite accomodation (one -person per room), all meals and refreshments.
