IEB Qum Office holds series of Training Workshops – Iran E-mail
In line with the Strategic Plan and with the purpose of training muballighin and teachers to be more effective in their efforts, the IEB Qum Office has embarked upon a comprehensive project entitled, 'Ambassadors of Light'. The aim of the project is to identify a training programme for Khoja students residing in Qum. The project includes holding workshops for the training of important skills. With this in mind, the Qum Office successfully held a series of six workshops on 'The Methods of Explaining Ahkam (religious rules)'. The workshops combined both the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject and were taken by the renowned scholar Sheikh Fallah-Zadeh. Feedback from the participants was positive, many of them commenting that the sessions were very beneficial. One participant commented: “These programmes are very interesting and useful for us and we should have more. Learning Ahkam is a clear need for our community and all Muslims and so training in the methods of communicating the religious rules is very important. I thank you for bringing in such a teacher for us - Sheikh Fallah-Zadeh has really added to our interest and ability in Ahkam.” To read the full story click here For further information, email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
