The MCB Media have received this from Woman's Own magazine regarding an awards ceremony they're organising. If any of you know of a child that is eligible and would like to nominate him/ her for the award, please contact CoEJ Secretariat. Woman's Own magazine is currently looking for possible candidates for their annual Children of Courage awards. Now in it's 32nd year, the ceremony honours youngsters who've done something brave in 2005, whether it's coping with a serious illness, being particularly community-spirited in the face of adversity or perhaps acting to help others despite obvious danger to themselves. We ask our readers and members to nominate children they think are deserving of the award, but every year at this time, we like to make sure we haven't missed out any deserving youngsters.
I wonder if, in the course of the MCB's work this year, you've come across anyone you feel might be deserving of an award. To be eligible, the children need to be aged between five and 16. Please come forward with any nominations to CoEJ Secretariat:
